The Case was filed against:  Minister of Investment, Minister of Information, Chairman of General Authority for Investment and Free Zone, head of the Egyptian Radio and Television Union’s board of trustees (ERTU), The Head of the Media Public Free Zone Administration,  Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Satellite Co. (NileSat), Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Faraeen Satellite Channel, Tawfeeq Yehia Ibrahim Attiya, the presenter of the show ‘Masr Al-Youm’,

The contested decision: Abstaining from taking the legal procedures concerning the violations incurred by Satellite Channel Al-Faraeen.

The ruling:The court ordered the suspension of the broadcasting of Al-Faraeen Satellite Channel and to ban TV presenter Tawfeeq Okasha from making TV appearances
